6 - The Restored Section near Chesterfield

5 - Norwood Locks <<-- : -->> 1 - Shireoaks

There are (or were) six locks between Norwood and Chesterfield

• 6 - Belk Lane (infilled, fall from Norwood)
• 5 - Staveley Works or Hollingsworth Lock (rise towards Chesterfield)
• 4 - Dixon's Lock (moved from original position, I believe)
• 3 - Blue Bank Lock
• 2 - New Bridge Lane or Wheeldon Mill Lock
• 1 - Ford Lane or Tapton Lock

A further lock, Staveley Town Lock 5a, has been constructed, falling towards Norwood. The canal is navigable (but isolated) between Staveley Town Basin and Chesterfield.
